Working alongside our Chief Executive, Rhian Stone and newly appointed Executive Team, we are seeking to strengthen the board by appointing an experienced Board Chair. Unlike many board recruitment processes that focus on specific functional expertise, we are not seeking a particular skill set but a strategic leader who can set the tone and effectiveness of the board.

We are particularly focused on appointing someone with experience of being a Board Chair who can improve our governance practices but also promote transparency, accountability and ethical standards and someone who shares our passion and values to support people to live the life they want, their way.

As our new Chair, you will be a pivotal part of delivering our 2025-28 Strategic Plan. Our ambition is to continue to be an outstanding provider of social care, a great employer and a core part of Bolton, Salford, Wigan and Greater Manchester communities.
